Come learn how to make protest banners in easy steps that do not require sewing. You will be able to keep the banners or donate them to become an installation in the library.

Artist, Aram Han Sifuentes, started the project Protest Banner Lending Library in Chicago in November 2016. She facilitates free public workshops teaching people how to make their protest banner and maintains lending libraries of protest banners for people to check out and use. The protest banner making workshops have become a place where people come together in solidarity through making. And making is, in and of itself, a form of resistance.
